Audrey Calderwood, MD, MS

Dr. Calderwood is a gastroenterologist at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon, NH and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine and The Dartmouth Institute. She is passionate about colon cancer prevention. Her research focuses on optimizing utilization of screening and surveillance colonoscopy, specifically among older adults, and better understanding the role of primary care providers and specialists in decision-making. She has had funding from the National Institutes of Health to support her work. She is actively involved in the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy’s Quality Assurance in Endoscopy Committee.
